Endo-TAGSS is currently actively involved in studies to address the burgeoning obesity epidemic, working with Dr. Andrew Storm and Dr. Barham K. Abu Dayyeh, MAYO Clinic Rochester MN. Preliminary studies show feasibility of gastric antral restriction as a possible alternative to Endoscopic and Surgical Gastric Sleeve as well as Roux-n-Y Gastric Bypass.

Data using a porcine model will be presented at DDW 2023. This innovative and disruptive technology can theoretically be accomplished in an out-patient setting and be safer, more cost effective and widely available than current treatments.
